Start your tour with a visit to Raj Ghat, the burial place of Mahatma Gandhi, and also visit Shanti Vana. Later, head to the Red Fort, an iconic attraction built as the residence for the Mughals when they shifted their base to Delhi. Constructed using red sandstone, the fort holds cultural significance as the location where the Prime Minister hoists the national flag on Independence Day. Inside the Red Fort complex, explore key structures such as the Diwan-i-Aam, Diwan-i-Khas, and the Meena Bazaar.

Next, visit the famous market of Chandni Chowk, where you can shop for apparel, spices, and more. This is one of the largest markets in the country, offering a variety of goods from accessories to beauty products.

In the second half of the afternoon, visit other famous attractions in the city. Head to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Qutub Minar, built in 1199 by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek as a victory tower to commemorate the beginning of Muslim rule in India. Explore the Qutb Complex, including landmarks like the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque and the Iron Pillar.

Continue to Humayun’s Tomb, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. This garden-style tomb was built in honor of the Mughal Emperor Humayun by his widow, Empress Bega Begum, and houses the tombs of Humayun and other Mughal royals. Its construction marked the beginning of Mughal architecture, blending Indian, Persian, and Turkish styles.

Visit the India Gate, a war memorial built in honor of British Indian soldiers who died during the First World War (1914–1921). Designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, the India Gate also houses the eternal flame, Amar Jawan Jyoti, as a tribute to soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation.

Also, visit the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official residence of the President of India. Designed by renowned architects Sir Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker, the building was constructed in 1929 and spans 330 acres, including a main structure with over 340 rooms.
